Topson Downs is proud to support the following organizations:

Smile Train
The Smile Train is focused on solving a single problem: cleft lip and palate. Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly. Aren't allowed to attend school or hold a job. And face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache. This is our mission: To provide free cleft surgery for millions of poor children in developing countries. To provide free cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals, until there are no more children who need help and we have completely eradicated the problem of clefts.

World Servants
The famine situation in parts of Kenya has reached a critical stage. There has not been adequate rainfall to sustain crops for the last 3 years and therefore many people are facing starvation. The name of the village we are supporting is "Kimangu" near Tawa, located east of Nairobi and Machakos. Food is distributed through the World Servants Kenya, a NGO heavily involved in assisting the local communities to engage in sustainable livelihood and income generating activities. World Servants has been in this field for the last 15 years and has a heavy presence in the Ukambani area.

Looking Beyond
Looking Above and Beyond is a non-profit organization founded in 1999. Looking Beyond is dedicated to promoting awareness and creating advancement and enrichment for children with disabilities by supporting different programs and services. With your support and generosity, we aim to help many different organizations that can help fulfill the dreams and visions of children reaching their full potential regardless of their disabilities.

Camp Harmony
Camp Harmony provides homeless and impoverished children with a fun and safe overnight camping experience in the Malibu Hills. Camp Harmony is provided at NO COST to campers, giving them a well-deserved break from their struggles with poverty. At summer and winter sessions, our volunteer counselor and adult support staff fulfills our camp motto "Give them all the love they can take and all the food they need." By participating in activities like arts and crafts, swimming, hiking, sports, a challenging ropes course, and often, a first trip to the beach, campers gain self-confidence, encounter new experiences, and form lasting friendships.

Surfaid
SurfAid International, a non-profit organization dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering through community-based health programs. With the support of the New Zealand and Australian governments, the global surfing community, and most importantly the Mentawai people of the affected areas themselves, SurfAid has come to exemplify the healing power of cross-cultural partnerships.

Buddy Walk
Over the last thirteen years, the Buddy Walk has become the premier advocacy event for Down syndrome and has become a major platform for inclusion in communities across the country. The National Down Syndrome Society establishes the Buddy Walk to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome and to celebrate October, National Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

Safe Passage
Works with the poorest at-risk children of families working in the Guatemala City garbage dump. Within a safe and caring environment, we provide a comprehensive and integrated program that fosters hope, good health, educational achievement, self-sufficiency, self esteem and confidence. Our primary focus is on creating opportunities and dignity through the power of education.

Aga Khan Foundation
The Aga Khan Foundation has a sharp focus, clearly defined objectives and a consistent approach to its work. It concentrates on selected issues in health, education, rural development and the strengthening of civil society. Within its thematic areas of interest, the Foundation looks for innovative approaches to generic problems. Projects are designed to be learning experiences that contribute to the understanding of complex issues and identify solutions that can be adapted to conditions in many different regions.

Children's Life Saving
The Children's Lifesaving Foundation (CLF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of at-risk and homeless children and their parents by providing comprehensive child and family services that transform lives. Our unique programs work together to promote self-sufficiency, confidence, leadership skills and a sense of family that inspire the children to become real contributors to their local and global communities. Our programs are offered free-of-charge to at-risk and homeless youth, from the ages of 5 through 17.
