TGIM: 2017 Solar Eclipse Edition
Thank you to all who came out to this week’s outdoor TGIM! This was the first total solar eclipse across the continental US in almost 100 years and we are so glad to have shared this monumental moment with each and every one of you! See you all again in 38 years!
Olive Crest Backpack Drive
After a month of collection, advocacy, and filling backpacks Topson has concluded their summer backpack drive! Thank you to all of those who donated their time and resources to help set our Olive Crest kids up for academic success!
Dodger Game
Last Friday night, Topson went to the ball game to watch the LA Dodgers take on the Atlanta Braves. After enjoying complimentary Dodger dogs, popcorn, peanuts, nachos, and soda, Topson closed out the night by watching disco themed fireworks light up the LA sky. Thank you to our partners for making such an amazing event possible!
"Life's A Beach" Dress-Up Day
In honor of the days being longer, our skin getting tanner, and our drinks getting colder, we at Topson said, “Hello!” to summer by sporting our favorite beach wear to work. Some of the best memories are made in sunhats and Hawaiian shirts, and this day was no exception!

Topson HQ Blood Drive
On Tuesday May 23rd, Topson Downs partnered with the American Red Cross for their annual blood drive!
As a team, Topson donated enough blood to save 48 lives! Thank you to all who rolled up their sleeves and took the time to donate.
Steps Challenge
Congratulations to We Are The Fantastic Five for topping the Steps Challenge leaderboard!
After 4 weeks of hardcore stepping, Topson has taken over 33,000,000 steps toward an active and healthier life! Thank you and congratulations to everyone who participated in this challenge and let’s keep the energy going to step it up for one more day!
Coachella Music and Arts Festival
Rock stars like Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar may have dominated the stage, but Topson’s styles dominated Coachella. It's no secret that the Coachella Music and Arts Festival is largely known for its attendees outfits, both good and bad, and last weekend Topson got a chance to check it out for ourselves.

OUE SkySpace LA
Last Friday night, Topson took the streets of LA - or more accurately, the skies of LA – to enjoy SkySpace’s jaw-dropping 360° view of the City of Angels. After enjoying the interactive museum, outdoor glass slide, and taking some “double-tap worthy” Instagram photos, Topson continued the party at Takami restaurant for some appetizers and a light cocktail hour.

Olive Crest Easter Basket Drive
For over a month, Topson has been conducting an Easter basket drive in partnership with Olive Crest, a shelter for at-risk, abused, and neglected children. After several weeks of collection and advocacy, Topson concluded the Easter basket drive on Monday, April 3rd.
With such a wonderful turn out this year, Topson wants to thank everyone who helped make this Easter season a little more special for the children at Olive Crest!
CicLAvia 20: Culver Meets Venice
Topson joined thousands of bicyclists, skaters, and pedestrians and took to the streets of Los Angeles and Culver City on Sunday, March 26th. The weather was cool and sunny, the crowds were huge, and there were – of course – all kinds of running, walking, skating, and bicycling.

Young Professionals Sleep Out
Topson slept out on the grounds of LA on Friday, March 24th, to raise awareness and funds for our country's homeless youth population. This event also took place in Anchorage, Atlanta, NYC, Newark, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, and Philadelphia. During our sleep out, we met a very positive and inspirational young man who told us about the heartbreaking struggles of homelessness, and how his life has changed, for the better, through the help and housing provided by Covenant House. We, at Topson, are incredibly proud to hold a partnership with such a dedicated organization.
As of today, Topson has raised $2,035 for Covenant House!

Olive Crest-Adopt a Family
This Holiday Season Topson Downs worked with Olive Crest and sponsored 29 families! We provided each family with toys, new furnishings and appliances, gift cards, entertainment tickets, food baskets, hygiene supplies, clothing, and more. The partner, along with other Topson employees talked about their amazing, emotional experiences and encouraged anyone who has never done something like this to try it. Thanks again to all who volunteered and made a difference!

Blood drive
On October 24th Topson employees rolled up their sleeves and helped save lives! We proudly partnered with the American Red Cross and held a very SUCCESSFUL blood drive.
Favorite Designer” day
John recognized all who participated in bring Fashion alive on Tuesday’s “Favorite Designer” day. Participants of this month’s dress up day were given a surprise prize $$$. CONGRATS!!
2016 Louisiana Floods
In August 2016 prolonged rainfall in southern parts of Louisiana resulted in catastrophic flooding that submerged thousands of homes and businesses. The flood has been called the worst US natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy in 2012. As of now, 13 deaths have been reported as a result of the flooding. In response to this disaster, Topson Downs has donated $10,000 to the Red Cross relief efforts to help those in need during this difficult time.
Annual Company Softball Game
Every year "El Presidente" and "El Secretario" battle it out on the baseball diamond. Despite the sun blinding the batters, everyone had such a great time! Team Presidente won fair and square - we had an official umpire calling the plays this year! We also had some delicious tacos for dinner. Topson would like to thank those who participated in the game and also those who came out to cheer for us!
Dodger Day
Topson Downs treated employees to its first ever Dodger Day! It was a perfect Friday in Los Angeles evening when team members from each of our locations got together to enjoy food, drinks, camaraderie, and baseball! One of our team members even caught a home run ball! Everybody had so much fun and we cannot wait for the next one!
Orlando Tragedy
On June 12, 2016 in Orlando, FL a gunman killed 49 people and wounded another 53 people. It was both the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman and the deadliest incident of violence against LGBT people in U.S. history. One of the victims was a friend of one of our own employees. In response to this tragedy, Topson Downs has donated $10,000 to those affected by this brutal attack. This is amazing! If any of you would like to donate, you can do so here.
Our first Paint Nite
We recently hosted our first paint night and it was so much fun! We provided the canvas, paint, wine, and appetizers. The TGIM Committee were the hosts and servers for the evening. Special shoutout to Pam for providing and preparing all of the food! Employees followed along a talented painter, our very own Clarissa, and painted a beautiful moonlight champagne toast scene.
